Jersey Cash 5: Essex County Store Sells $285K Winning Ticket

IRVINGTON, NJ — An Essex County store sold a $285,887 winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket for the Saturday, Aug. 27 drawing, lottery officials stated.

According to NJ Lottery officials, the ticket matched all five numbers and was purchased at ASHT SAKHA LLC, at 287 40th Street in Irvington. For selling the ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000.

The winning numbers were: 01, 16, 28, 30 and 31.
