jonesey's travelog

So it occurred to me that there's places where you can keep up with my acting and comedy, and where you can see what Deadgood Events are doing, and neither of 'em are places just to talk.
Then I thought about all the interesting places I've been over the years, and I thought, "there's a lot of interesting things to say about 'em".
I was gonna start with the latest trip and work backwards, and I'll do so, later.
First, I thought I'd give you the story of my first morning back.
We got home from Europe mid-evening Wednesday, and stayed awake until 12pm local time (which I've learned is the best way to avoid  jet lag).
Thursday morning I needed to be in Manhattan way down at 11th Street by 8 am, so I set my alarm early - 6.18 train, to give me time to walk across the city.
I fall deep deep asleep...
The alarm goes off...
"Really?" I think, "it feels like I've only beeen asleep ten minutes! Never mind, never mind".
I get up. I bath. I achieve the scruffy look I need for the day's filming. I go downstairs, and there's my son on the computer.
It's 5.45.
I give him The Look.
"WHAT?" he says, aggrieved.
I look at the clock on the TV reciever.
It's 12.45.
I forgot to readjust the alrm clock to US time. I got up 5 hours too early.
It felt like I'd only been asleep 10 minutes. I HAD only been asleep 10 minutes....
I went back to bed - I didn't even bother to undress, just measured my length on the matress.
