Knitknack Has the Knack for Summer Knitting

Drop-in knitting and crochet classes available for ages 9 and up.

Think knitting and crocheting are all about warm winter woolens like mittens and toasty sweaters?

Think again. Knitting is a year 'round activity and a perfect way for you — or your children who are desperately in need of summer activities — to while away the hours in productive fashion.

And is here to help.

The yarn shop at 1914 Springfield Avenue is offering summer knitting and crochet drop-in classes for ages 9 and up (that includes adults). The one-hour group lessons cost $25 each. Students are required to purchase their materials from Knitknack (free lesson for children with purchase of a Minnow Knits Beginners Kit!), and the drop-in classes are for beginners only.

Call 973-763-6066 for a schedule of drop-ins OR to schedule a private lesson if you are or you have a more advanced student to sign up. Knitknack's lovely owner Meera Kothari Cho will customize a class for you or work with you on specific projects and techniques.
