Learn About Life In Maplewood Village Since 1888 This Weekend
Maplewood Village was listed on the NJ Register of Historic Places this year. Learn more about its history at an event Sunday.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood Village was listed on both the state and national Register of Historic Places in spring, and now visitors can learn about life in the "village" since 1888 at an exhibit Sunday.
The event will run Nov. 20 from 1-4 p.m. at the Durand-Hedden House & Garden.
Organizers said, "The Village, small-scale and walkable, has been a centerpiece of Maplewood life since the late 19th century – providing food and other provisions, access to travel and education, banking and postal services, entertainment and a place for community interaction."
