Luna Stella Restaurant Open In Maplewood
After a week of tinkering with invited guests, the restaurant is open to the public.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - After many months of anticipation, Luna Stella is open at 5 Highland Place where the Highland Place restaurant used to be.
"Great look, exciting menu, nice big bar," Maplewood Mayor Vic De Luca said.
The look of the redesigned restaurant is not the only thing that changed in the overhaul. There memo from Humberto Campos is all new as well.

Owner Max Kian'snew restaurant features starters like black mission fig crostini, grilled octopus and a fritto misto of fried mixed vegetables. Gluten free pasta is available alongside a rigatoni bolognese and linguini and clams. Eggplant parmigiana, streak steak, roasted chicken "under a brick" are also in the offing.
Sides like polenta, wild and wild mushrooms round out the menu that includes an assortment of desserts with another gluten free option.

The restaurant will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
"Congratulations to Humberto and Max Kian, owner, on the opening," De Luca said.
