Maplewood Animal Advocacy Group Targeted By Vandals
NJ Strays says slashed tires, cut wifi and disabled air-conditioning has plagued their Millburn Avenue HQ.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The NJ Strays headquarters in Maplewood has been targeted by vandals and employees are asking those who may have information to contact the Maplewood Police Department.
"We're writing this post to inform our friends, partners and allies about some unfortunate neighborhood vandalism at our HQ in Maplewood," the organization posted to social media.
According to their post, they've had their tires slashed, wi-fi cut, AC disabled and more at their location on Millburn Avenue. They are asking that anyone with information to reach out to the Maplewood Police Department.

"We hope this is not a direct attack on our #nokill mission and just some random acts," the post said. "We're an all-volunteer non-profit organization and we can't continue to suffer damage to our personal and organization property."
According to their website, NJ Strays focuses on reducing shelter intake to decrease euthanasia among animals at shelters in the community. The site notes the also believe in and support the No-Kill animal movement in New Jersey.
