Maplewood Burglaries On Dunnell, Jacoby: Police

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — A pair of burglaries were reported in Maplewood earlier this month, authorities said.

The Maplewood Police Department provided the following statements about the alleged burglaries:

• August 1 - An employee of the Civic House on Dunnell Road reported that someone had entered the building and taken a cell phone during the overnight hours. A 29-year-old East Orange resident was subsequently charged with criminal trespass and theft and transported to the county jail.
• August 3 - During the daytime hours, entry was forced to a home on the 80-block of Jacoby Street. Electronics were reported missing at the time of the report.
