Maplewood Car Thefts Reported: Berkley Street, Valley Street, Claremont Avenue

Maplewood, NJ – Maplewood police say that three car theft incidents were reported in the township last week.

According to the Maplewood Police Department, the following incidents took place:

• June 25, 2016 - Motor Vehicle Theft - Sometime over the previous three days, a Ford van was stolen from the lot of the Delta Gas Station on Valley Street.
• June 26, 2016 - Motor Vehicle Theft - During the overnight hours, a Toyota Camry parked on Berkley Street was stolen.
• June 26, 2016 - Motor Vehicle Theft - During the overnight hours an unsecured Jeep was stolen from a residence on Claremont Avenue. It was later recovered in Orange.
