Maplewood To Explain Recycling Changes

Essex County's Recycling Coordinator Wayne DeFeo has been tapped as keynote speaker.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The Maplewood Department of Public Works is hosting a recycling seminar on Tuesday to discuss changes to the recycling program. The seminar will run from 6 p.m. through 8 p.m. and will take place at The Woodland, located at 60 Woodland Road.

According to Kyle Nelson of the Maplewood Department of Public Works, there has been a massive change in recycling markets over the past few months and the Township has been forced to make several adjustments to our collection process.

The keynote speaker for the event is Essex County’s Recycling Coordinator, Wayne DeFeo, who officials say will be present to share his wealth of knowledge and experience in the recycling world.
