Maplewood Police Collecting, Distributing Winter Coats Thursday

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The Maplewood Police Department will be accepting and distributing winter coats for youth in need from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in main gym at Columbia High School on Thursday.

According to officials, those interested in donating can bring brand new or gently used coats, gloves, hats, and scarves to the gym, located at 17 Parker Ave. Adult and youth sizes are accepted.

Those who are in need of a coat, gloves, hat, or scarves are encouraged to stop by the Columbia High School Main Gym to pick out new winter wear.
