Maplewood Police: Crosswalk Enforcement Campaign Takes Place This Week

If you’re driving in Maplewood this week, make sure that you follow traffic rules when you come to a crosswalk.

The Maplewood Police Department will be conducting a pedestrian crosswalk enforcement campaign from Monday, Oct. 19 to Sunday, Oct. 25.

According to an alert issued by the MPD, the details are intended to “enforce violations of vehicles not stopping for pedestrians in the crosswalk and other traffic violations.”

The details will take place in the area of Prospect Street, Springfield Avenue, Valley Street and surrounding streets, police stated.
