Maplewood Residents Report 4 Thefts: Overlook, Irvington, Essex and Train Station

Maplewood, NJ – Maplewood residents reported four thefts in the township last week, police say.

According to the Maplewood Police Department, the following incidents took place:

• June 13, 2016 – Theft - At approximately 11 a.m., two leaf blowers were stolen from a landscaping trailer that was parked on Overlook Terrace.
• June 15, 2016 - Bicycle Theft - During the overnight hours, two bicycles were stolen from the train station.
• June 16, 2016 – Burglary - Between 4 and 5 a.m., the door to a business on Irvington Ave was broken and cash was stolen from the business.
• June 18, 2016 - Bicycle Theft - At approximately 1:45 p.m., a bicycle left on the lawn of an Essex Avenue home was stolen.
