Chamber Networking Event Draws a Crowd

This year's Maplewood Chamber Business Card Exchange offered a chance to network, learn and win an iPad 3 — yes, that's iPad 3!

Anybody who's anyone in Maplewood business was at the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce Business Card Exchange at the on Tuesday evening, Feb. 28.

The room was so bursting — with 100 attendees or more — and boisterous that it was hard to keep the crowd quiet for John Harvey's brief networking training session “The Other Side of the Card."

The Township of Maplewood and the Maplewood Police Department were two of the more interesting tables at the event. The Township was promoting business-friendly services such as the upcoming and a on how to do business with the town. The PD provided information on neighborhood watches, business safety and more.

Besides the terrific networking opportunities, the highlight of the evening came when Chamber President Rene Clawson called out Cynthia Sanders name as the winner of an iPad. Clawson said that Sanders would be receiving an iPad 3 (Apple has set its launch for March 7).
