Maplewood Sets New Tax Deadline
Delay in the State budget process has pushed the third quarter tax bills.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Due to the delay in the State budgetary process, the deadline for the third quarter tax bill has been extended into September, according to officials.
The Final 2019 tax bills were mailed Wednesday Aug. 7 and due to the late mailing, the grace period for the August tax bill is extended until Sept. 5, officials said.
This will be the final deadline for paying the 3rd quarter taxes. There will be no additional grace period beyond Sept. 5.

Any unpaid 3rd quarter balance will accrue interest from Aug. 1, officials said
Fourth quarter 2019 taxes are due on Nov. 1, with a grace period through Nov. 12.
