Maplewood Snow Advisory: No Overnight Parking

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — As the weather forecast keeps getting worse for what may be the biggest snowstorm to hit New Jersey this season, Maplewood police are reminding local residents to follow municipal laws about overnight parking and snow shoveling.

On Tuesday, the Maplewood Police Department issued the following advisory:

“In anticipation of inclement winter weather and the declaration of a state of emergency there will be no overnight parking granted in the Township of Maplewood. All vehicles are expected to be removed from the roadway prior to midnight. This will help ensure the ability for proper snow removal and safe passage for emergency vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation in advance.”
