MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The polls have closed in New Jersey and the Maplewood election results are in.

Two candidates ran unopposed for two open seats on the Maplewood Township Committee — Jamaine Cripe and incumbent Nancy Adams.

In Maplewood's form of government, candidates run for Township Committee and are elected by the public. Then, the committee members choose a mayor and deputy mayor each year from among themselves.

Committee members serve staggered three-year terms.

  • Qawi Telesford: 6,316
  • Arun Vadlamani: 5,593
  • Kaitlin Wittleder: 5,928
  • Shannon Cuttle: 4,970
  • William Rodriguez: 3,037
