Maplewood Township: Important Information Regarding Upcoming Tax Sale

Dear Residents,

The annual tax sale will be held in November for properties with delinquent tax and/or sewer bills from 2020. We have both publicly advertised as well as directly notified affected property owners over the past two weeks. As of today, the Township still has a significant number of properties with delinquent balances. Please be aware that these unpaid balances will result in a lien being placed on the property if not resolved by November 11, 2021.

We urge residents to address their delinquent status immediately to prevent a lien against their property. If you have any questions, please contact the Tax Department directly at (973) 762-8120 ext. 3000.
