Maplewood Township: Upcoming Athletic Field Treatments In Maplewood

Dear Neighbors,

Please be advised that fertilization treatments will take place in the coming weeks on both South Orange and Maplewood fields, including Maplewood's Borden, Maplecrest, and Memorial Parks’ athletic field areas. Weather permitting, these treatments will take place on August 14, a date in September, and a date in October. As soon as the dates are finalized, we will send out another correspondence. Times and dates are subject to change depending on the weather. These treatments do not involve any pesticides. We were assured by our vendor, TruGreen, that re-entry to the fields will be permitted once the product dries. There will be flags up alerting residents of this treatment for 72 hours post-application. No events are scheduled on the athletic fields during this time.
