Maplewood Township: Upcoming Holiday Celebrations On Springfield Ave.

The Maplewood Department of Community Services and the Springfield Avenue Partnership would like to welcome you to two upcoming holiday events at the Springfield Avenue Gazebo (1622 Springfield Avenue):

First, a Menorah Lighting will take place at 5:00pm tonight, December 2. The ceremony will include words from: Rabbi Dan Cohen, Rabbi Alexandra Klein, and Cantor Rebecca Moses from Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel; Rabbi Abigail Treu and Cantor Eliana Kissner from Oheb Shalom Congregation; and Rabbi Jesse Olitzky and Rabbi Rachel Marder from Congregation Beth El.

Second, a Holiday Tree Lighting will take place from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, December 5. Attendees can enjoy pictures with characters, donuts and hot chocolate, a craft project, music, and merriment! Guests of all ages are invited.
