Maplewood Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a full-time Shade Tree Laborer/Climber/Bucket Operator. Duties include but are not limited to: manual labor, heavy lifting, tree pruning, tree removal, grass cutting, use of chainsaws, chipping machines and stump grinders, equipment repairs, and more. Applicant should possess a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license—Class B CDL preferred, or must obtain within 6 months of starting employment. Available for overtime and must be able to work independently. Mandatory background check, drug and alcohol screening, drivers license check. Hours of employment are 7:30am-4:00pm.

Under direction, engages in various skilled and unskilled manual laboring tasks to maintain township parks and trees. May perform other duties as assigned.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:
