MayFest Reminder — Sunday, May 15!

Join Maplewood’s Springfield Avenue Partnership in celebrating the 10th Annual MayFest on Sunday, May 15, 2011. Springfield Avenue will be closed to traffic between Indiana and Oberlin Streets throughout the event, which will be held from 11:00 am till 5:00 pm. The rain date is Sunday, May 22.
Highlights of MayFest will include:
- a petting zoo from Kafka Farms with over 40 animals and 4 ponies,
- a kiddie train and inflatable rides,
- a balloon animal maker and lots of fun activities for kids,
- A Classic Car Show with custom and special interest cars,
- more than 125 vendors, artists, crafters and civic associations,
- live music provided by some of the area’s hottest bands, plus
- great food representing the diverse community that lives, works, shops and dines along Springfield Avenu.
Entrance is free, with all day access to the rides, train, petting zoo and pony rides available for the purchase of a $5 wristband available on site.
