Milk Money Helps Parents Spend Wisely
Local children's consignment shop takes the hassle (and high cost) out of back-to-school shopping.
These days, discounted prices are a welcome find. That's especially true now that the start of school is just a few days away. Milk Money, a local children's consignment shop, is perfect for helping parents affordably dress their youngsters from head to toe.
Located at 410 Ridgewood Road, Milk Money has got it all. Owned by Maplewood resident Kim Baugh, the store contains shoes, shirts, blouses, dresses, pants, hats, and coats. And that's just the start. The shop's lower level houses items that parents may need for any aspect of their child's life.
"Down here, we've got strollers, bikes, and sports equipment," said Baugh, who owned the store for several years, sold it, and then recently bought it back. "Everything in the shop is in good condition." Other items found on the lower level include games, toys, and puzzles.

A kid-friendly location, Milk Money also has a colorful playroom for kids. "It's a great spot for kids to hang out while their moms shop," said Baugh.
Baugh enjoys running the shop and likes the flexibility that ownership provides. "It allows for a great work and family balance," she explained. "I can work, be an entrepreneur and still have the kids here."
