Jaelen graduated from Columbia High School four years ago, and we packed her things to move into the freshman dorms at Howard University. Although the years have flown by, her accomplishments have been impressive.
Next month, May 2026, Jaelen will be graduating from Howard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in Finance, with a minor in Spanish, summa cum laude! She maintained a 4.0 GPA while being very active on campus.
Jaelen worked in different internships with companies like PVH in NYC and in Chicago with the Chicago Bulls. Her hard work and dedication landed her a few impressive job offers. However, she will showcase her talent with Google as a financial analyst in Chicago, Illinois.
I am extremely proud of my daughter. I pray that she continues to be kind, selfless and hardworking. I also want her to remain safe in Chicago while she enjoys navigating life in the Windy City.
Jaelen, this is only the beginning. I can’t wait to see all that you accomplish in life! Jazmine and Mommy will always be here to support you because we love you!
