No Parking Near Ricalton Square, NJT Tracks In Maplewood: Jan. 25

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Do you normally park along the New Jersey Transit tracks near Ricalton Square in Maplewood? You might want to find a different spot on Thursday, Jan. 25.

According to municipal advisory, the east side parking spots along the NJT tracks in Ricalton Square will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday.

“As per the Redevelopment Plan, the Clarus developer will be installing ‘wheel stops’ in those parking spaces,” municipal officials said.

The wheel stops are intended to prevent cars parked in those spots from overhanging the curbs and narrowing the pedestrian walkway, officials said.
