No Tax Bills Mailed In Maplewood This Quarter

Delays at the County Board of Taxation has stopped the summer mailing.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Those gearing up for the Aug. 1 deadline to pay their third quarter property taxes have a little more breathing room as the due date has been extended.

The reason for the extension is that Maplewood Township is still awaiting the County Board of Taxation to certify tax rates, according to officials. Because of the delay estimated tax bills will not be mailed this year.

According to officials, a regular tax bill will be mailed at the end of this month and the due date for 3rd quarter property taxes will be at the end of August.
