North Jersey Pride Festival Returns To Essex County For 2018

The free, family-friendly festival brings together thousands of LGBTQ community members and straight allies from across the Garden State.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The North Jersey Pride Festival will return to Essex County for 2018 after a year absence for its “biggest celebration ever” on Sunday, June 10 in Maplewood.

After a one-year hiatus to join up with the 2017 National LGBTQ March on Washington, the North Jersey Pride Festival is set for noon to 6 p.m. at Memorial Park Amphitheater, 161 Dunnell Road in Maplewood. (Learn more about the festival here)

According to event organizers, the free, family-friendly festival brings together thousands of LGBTQ community members and straight allies from all over the Garden State to celebrate diversity, equality and respect for all.

The 2018 celebration will include a live entertainment stage, a kids entertainment stage, more than 80 vendors and a food court. Attendees are welcome to bring a blanket or beach chairs and spread out on the lawn.
