It may
feel like Super Storm Sandy happened a long time ago, but our trees may still
be feeling the effects of the storm’s devastation. Bruce Crawford, Director of
Rutgers Gardens and adjunct professor of Landscape Architecture will present a
program on how residential trees sustain storm damage and what to do about it
at the April meeting of the Maplewood Garden Club. A long time friend to
Maplewood, Bruce is very appreciative of the unusual specimens located around
our town and will answer your questions about how to best treat damage caused
by wind, snow, ice and age. Monday, April 7, 7:30
PM at the Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St., Maplewood, NJ. The meeting is open to the public,
admission is free and refreshments (often home made!) are served.
