Performers Theatre Workshop Students Visit Former NJ Student on Broadway

The lights on Broadway were shining on a very happy group of performing arts students recently.

Students from towns including Maplewood, Short Hills, Livingston, South Orange and many other locations hopped a bus to NYC to visit one of their own: former Performers Theatre Workshop actor Kathryn Allison.

The kids were wowed by the show, especially since Allison is one of its brightest stars. But after the performance, the students from PTW, all passionate performing arts kids, got to mingle with members of the cast.

As part of their ongoing, year-round program, PTW offers trips to NYC to see shows, and often times, the students get to visit stars who once trained at this beloved school.
