The pool is scheduled to be open on Saturday, June 16th and we have not heard anything contrary from the contractor. There are a few items that need to be finalized, including the installation of a lower rail on the handicap ramp. This will take 6 days to manufacture and 2 days to install. We cannot fill the pool until the installation.
Once the railing and some tile work are done the pool will be filled with water and the filtering will start. This will take a week.

We made arrangements for the country club pool so that the children have an opportunity for a pool party like students in past years. We did not want to risk it so we opted for the country club plan. There is a cost of $3,000 a day for two classes. It will take two days for four classes or $6,000. We expect $2,000 from the schools and the $4,000 will come from the pool construction budget.
