Preview of New Village Restaurant

Kansas city-style barbecue is returning to Maplewood. Indigo Smoke, which served up tangy food and live jazz at their Springfield Avenue location until closing last year, is starting fresh on Maplewood Avenue with a new site set to open in May. (The former site will host a juice bar.)

And recently, on their Web site, they posted early design drawings of the restaurant. Also, on the site, the owners say they plan on having "an extra-large bar featuring a wide range of choices, plenty of bar-dining area, plus a diverse, casual menu."
