Prospect Church presents Concert-With-A- Twist

The community is invited to attend a concert on Sunday, May 31 at 4:00 PM, featuring pianist, Richard Alston. The concert entitled ”Classically Black” will feature piano compositions by composers of African decent.

Alston is a masterful pianist, and has appeared as a soloist in recitals with orchestras throughout the US and Europe. He holds both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Juilliard School of Music.

He has served on the faculty of Essex County College, Rutgers University, and served on the Board of Music Advisors for Westminister Choir College Educations Opportunity Program. He is also the Minister of Music at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Montclair, NJ.
