Prospect Church Rummage is Ready to Rock, Y'all!
Holy great bargains – it's time to shop for a great cause!
Calling all Frugalistas!
The proactively positive ladies of have been busily readying the basement of their Prospect Street for this Sunday’s Rummage which will kick off THREE weekends of stellar savings:
“We’re very excited about the array of items," said , a lifetime Maplewood resident and 33-year Rummage UBER worker bee (she has not missed a single sale day in the entire existence of the ). “This year we’ve got everything from full China sets to designer clothing and lots of things kids will love. It really is an event for the whole family – we’ve even got a deluxe travel crate for the family dog for sale!”

Ms. Anderson is far from fibbing; Shop Localista’s spies spied fetching Fiestaware, beautiful bikes geared for all ages, ample antiques and a
deliriously attractive assortment of art and home décor. There was also an impressive abundance of books, CDs, terrific toys and fab fashions for the whole house, too.
This year also offers more shopper friendly hours, too: “We’ve
listened to feedback and altered the hours to make them more convenient to those who want to shop,” said , another long-prized Prospect member and mainstay in the annual effort. “With this economic environment, it’s really about getting great quality at great prices to as many people as possible.”

All proceeds from the Prospect Rummage Sale Fundraiser will go to outreach efforts. “Everything benefits our mission to help those in need – locally and globally,” added Anderson. “And at the end of the sale, anything not sold is distributed to other organizations in need — absolutely nothing goes to waste, which also really makes it the epitome of a ‘green’ endeavor.”

“It’s a tremendous event to take part in as a shopper OR a volunteer,” said Bullock. “Not only does it help so many people, but it is amazing and humbling to experience the overwhelming camaraderie that people from all ages and walks of life share under one roof for such a great cause.”
