Expat Life - When Manhattan was the destination, but we needed a bit more space for our growing family than the city allowed on our budget, we chose to live in a suburb of New Jersey and take the train for work and play.
We wanted a train service that didn't require us to change trains, and that was available both weekdays and weekends. This Mid-Town Direct train line offers a 7 day/week service to both NYC Penn Station, connecting with the 1-2-3 and A-C-E Subway lines, as well as to Hoboken and its PATH connection.
With Newark airport just a 15-20 minute drive away on Rt 78 this is also a great location for work, family and vacation flights.
