Restaurant Week Rolls on Despite Snow

The restaurant week event organized by the Maplewood Village Alliance scheduled to start today hasn’t been delayed by the snow, and will go on as scheduled. The Alliance’s Amy Koehler sent out a reminder on Monday, March 2, saying that the week-long event will go forward as planned.

“Some restaurants & stores are normally closed on Monday anyway but, for the most part, it's business as usual,” Koehler told Patch.

Everything is on for today, and stores and restaurants will offer their advertised specials. In a note sent out on Monday, March 2, Koehler said that some businesses will extend the specials past March 8 in case people didn't make it out today.
