Police said in 2017 they had spotted two women carrying the Maplewood grandmother's Coach purse after she passed away.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the murder of Deborah Burton, a 62-year-old grandmother from Maplewood, who was fatally shot in Newark four years ago.

She was taken to University Hospital and pronounced dead at 2:31 p.m.
