School Board Hopefuls To Debate In Maplewood Wednesday

All eight candidates will be in attendance.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - All eight candidates vying for a spot on the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education will be participating in a debate on Wednesday, according to the South Orange-Maplewood Presidents’ Council.

There are eight running for three seats on the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education this year. Voters will have to choose between Annemarie Maini (incumbent), Narda Chisholm-Greene, Verjus Restaurant, Michael Laskowski, Bruno J. Navarro, Christopher Trzaska, Shannon Cuttle, Javier A. Farfan and Marian Cutler.

The three BOE members whose terms are ending this year are Maini, Madhu Pai and Chris Sabin.

The debate is scheduled to be begin at 7:30 p.m. in the District Meeting Room at 525 Academy Street, Maplewood.
