Sheldon E. Goodmore of Maplewood

Sheldon E. Goodmoore of Maplewood, N.J., died on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at Bellevue Hospital, New York, N.Y. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Monday, Nov. 28 at 8:30 p.m. Interment is private. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 p.m. until time of service.

Sheldon graduated from the University of Texas, Austin, in 1986, with a bachelor's degree in commmunications. Formerly of New York City, San Francisco, and North White Plains, N.Y., he was the vice president of merchandising at Revman International in New York since 1997. He was very involved with the Tuscan Elementary School P.T.A., where his husband, Willis, serves as president. His many hobbies and interests included singing, graphic arts, theatre, and public service. He was the beloved husband of Willis Goodmoore, devoted father of Tyler N. and Noah A. Goodmoore, loving son of Gilbert I. Good and his wife Nancy and the late Maxine Cohen Good, and dear brother of Allison Plotkin and her husband Lee.
