Soap Thief Caught In Maplewood: Police
Prince Hobson stole around 30 bars of soap from the Dollar Tree, police said.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ - A 25-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged with shoplifting after stealing from the Dollar Tree store on March 13, Maplewood Township Police said.
According to authorities, shortly after 3 p.m. a man concealed approximately 30 bars of soap in his jacket at Dollar Tree on Springfield Avenue and exited the store and got onto the bus without paying for the items.
Officers stopped the bus and located Prince Hobson of Newark with the items, police said. Hobson was arrested and charged with shoplifting, police said.
