South Orange-Maplewood Closes School Early Wednesday

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - School-aged children will have a little extra time for homework on Wednesday as the South Orange-Maplewood School District has scheduled an early dismissal.

Elementary schools will end 4 hours after their start times, middle schools and Montrose will end at 12:30 p.m., Columbia High School will end at noon.

The YMCA's on-site and off-site Elementary School After Care Programs will be closed.
Lunch is not served on early dismissal days.

School and dismissal times:

• Columbia High School: noon
• Maplewood Middle School: 12:30 p.m.
• South Orange Middle School: 12:30 p.m.
• Clinton Elementary School 12:05 p.m.
• Jefferson Elementary School 12:05 p.m.
• Marshall Elementary School 12:45 p.m.
• Seth Boyden Elementary School 12:45 p.m.
• South Mountain – Big School 12:10 p.m.
• South Mountain - Annex: noon
• Tuscan Elementary School: 12:45 p.m.
• Montrose Early Childhood Center: 12:30 p.m.
