Star-Ledger Gives Indigo The Thumbs-Up
The pork shoulder is "brilliant," the barbeque sauce is "just spice enough" and the decor is "catchy and stylish."

Yesterday's Star-Ledger gave the relocated and reborn Indigo Kitchen & Bar a very nice review yesterday--not quite a rave, but there was nary a criticism.
Food reviewer Cody Kendall was effusive about the pork shoulder ("brilliant") and complimented the pulled pork platter ("very decent"), both standard dishes at Indigo. He got a little dreamy about the sides of sweet potatoes and collards and the red velvet cake dessert with melted cream cheese icing.
Kendall was complimentary about the service, which some locals found a bit slow in the weeks following the opening at Indigo's new Maplewood Avenue location.
