State Helicopter To Land In Maplewood Due To Emergency
A state police helicopter will land in a Maplewood park because someone had a medical emergency, the local police said.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Maplewood police said at 11:27 a.m. Monday that a New Jersey State Police helicopter would land in town due to an emergency.
They asked drivers to avoid the area near Memorial Park, located at 580 Valley St.
"The NJSP helicopter will be landing in the south field of Memorial Park due to a medical emergency. Please avoid the park and surrounding area," the police said.
