'Story Theatre' Unfolds at Seth Boyden This Weekend
5th graders will be performing fairy tales, fables and folk songs.

The 5th grade musical this year at Seth Boyden School in Maplewood is a production of a little-known Broadway show from the early 1970s that originally included songs by Bob Dylan and George Harrison.
This is an updated version sporting a modern flair and featuring songs by Christina Aguilera and Little Mix.
Story Theatre — by Paul Sills — was produced and played on Broadway for 243 performances (and 14 previews) from October 1970 through July 1971. The show is a conglomeration of Brothers Grimm fairy tales and Aesop's fables including "The Bremen Town Musicians," "The Fisherman and His Wife," "Two Crows," "The Golden Goose," and "Henny Penny."
Jazzberries founder and Seth Boyden parent Susan Leone is at the helm of this year's show.

Tickets are available at Words bookstore in Maplewood and Ladies Express in South Orange. You can also buy them at the door on performance nights, but be forewarned — sometimes they sell out!
Tickets are $6 per child and $12 per adult. Payments can be made by cash or check. Checks can be made out to Seth Boyden PTA.
