This Weekend is Sidewalk Sale Days and Summer BBQ

The Fourth of July is a distant memory, and Maplewoodstock is over. But the summer is far from over. Which is a good thing, as summer weather only seemed to start last week.

To celebrate the fact that the days are going to continue to be hot and long, Maplewood Village is holding a weekend-long bonanza of barbecue and summer sales. From Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19, Maplewood Village merchants will be setting up out on the streets and offering wine tastings, refreshments and more.  For parts of the weekend, the sections of the Village will be blocked off, so drive—and shop—carefully.

The weekend event is the latest example of the Maplewood Village Alliance’s ramping up of their programming this year, following the previous events such as Restaurant Week, Spring Open Market and Girl’s Night Out.
