Train Rides, Petting Zoo On Tap Sunday As Mayfest Street Festival Returns To Maplewood

See the updated schedule of events below as the Mayfest fair returns to Maplewood after a 2-year absence.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood's annual fun festival, MayFest, returns to town this Sunday after a two-year absence, bringing vendors, a petting zoo, train rides, living music, and more.

The street fair will take place on Springfield Avenue from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Local demonstrations at the corner of Springfield Ave and Yale Street include*:
12:30 p.m.—Inspirational Dance
1:30 p.m.—Blue Life Karate
2:00 p.m.—LaChaney’s Dance and Music Academy
3:00 p.m.—Premier Martial Arts

The line up of local bands at the corner of Springfield Avenue and Prospect Street is*:
11:00 a.m.–Mike Choi
12:00 p.m.–In-Tune School of Music
1:00 p.m.—Ben Williams
2:00 p.m.—Big Mamou

MayFest is located on Springfield Avenue between Indiana and Rutgers streets.

Free parking will be available on local side streets and in the municipal lots at Yale Street & Springfield Avenue and Tuscan Road & Springfield Avenue.
