Union Man Charged With Killing Maplewood Resident
Police have arrested a 25-year-old Union man in connection with the fatal beating of a Maplewood man, authorities say.

Maplewood, NJ – Police have arrested a 25-year-old Union man in connection with the fatal beating of a Maplewood man, authorities announced Saturday.
According to the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, Yves Marcellus was charged with the murder of Matthew Murrell, 25, of Maplewood.
Murrell was found in a side yard outside 870 Salem Road in Union on July 5, authorities reported.

Authorities had offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

Police arrested Marcellus without incident at his place of employment on Route 22 in Union on Friday night, TAP Into Millburn/Short Hills reported.
