Woman Killed By Train In New Jersey, Authorities Say

A woman was killed in New Jersey after getting hit by a train this weekend, officials said.

The woman was hit around 10 p.m. Saturday near the Maplewood station as the train was heading to New York's Penn Station, according to NJ Transit.

None of the train's passengers or crew were injured. Morris and Essex line was suspended for a few hours but was restored by early Sunday.
