MARLBORO, NJ - Additional roads are slated for road improvement construction starting next week, with several projects already completed as of Friday.

In a municipal alert, Marlboro Township officials indicated that curb installations on Greenwood and Church Roads, as well as Adam and Barclays Streets, would be completed by July 23. Handicap ramps at intersections were also installed on Church Road and Adam and Barclays Streets.

Scheduled construction includes paving, patching, repairing potholes and street sweeping, according to a municipal alert.

Per the township's recycling calendar, lawn debris should be curbside until late September during road construction.

Church Road is scheduled for curb installation and handicap ramp installations from July 26 to 30 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., officials said. The road will remain accessible during construction, although motorists are advised to use caution through the work zone. Police officers will be on site to assist motorists and residents.

Greenwood Road will also see construction from July 26 to 30, but is scheduled to close from Texas Road to CR 516 in Old Bridge through the duration of the work period. Detours will be in place and officers will be on site to assist motorists and residents.

Brookside Circle and Wyncrest Road is scheduled to be resurfaced between Robertsville Road and Route 18 later this fall, according to the township. Officials will be utilizing a $215,000 grant received from the State Department of Transportation to fund the initiative.

The project will be coordinated with water system improvements at the intersection of Robertsville Road, Wyncrest Road and Brookside Circle, officials said. Upgrades to the ADA curb ramps will also be completed.
