25-Year-Old Identified In Fatal Colts Neck Crash On Rt. 18
The 25-year-old driver was pronounced dead after her vehicle traveled off the main road, ejected her and caught fire, authorities said.
COLTS NECK, NJ - A 25-year-old driver has been identified as the deceased in a fatal Colts Neck motor vehicle incident on Route 18 last week, authorities said.
Kimberly R. Cubero-Salazar of Green Brook, was pronounced dead following a single-vehicle collision on July 4 after her 2015 Lexus IS traveled off the main road, ejected her and caught fire, a spokesman from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office told Patch.
Cubero-Salazar was the sole occupant of the car as she was traveling northbound around 4:51 a.m. when the vehicle traveled off the road to the right, went behind a guardrail and down an embankment where it collided with multiple trees.

She was pronounced dead at 5:26 a.m., the spokesman said.
