6-Week Road Closure Set In Colts Neck: See Where

The road will be closed and detoured to perform bridge repairs, township officials said.

COLTS NECK, NJ — Residents should be aware of a road closure expected to last about six weeks in Colts Neck.

Starting on Monday, March 23, township officials said the county will be performing repairs to Bridge A-9 on Montrose Road over Yellow Brook.

While this work is being performed, officials said a detour using Cedar Drive, Bucks Mill Road and County Route 537 will be in place.

Road work is anticipated to last for six weeks, officials said.

Local residents who live along Montrose Road will have access to their homes and driveways at all times.

Colts Neck Township Police are urging drivers to plan alternate routes and expect delays in the area while repairs are taking place.

"We appreciate your patience and understanding," police said.
