ABA Helps Brighten the Day of of Toms River Child
Daniel Morin is a young Toms River boy who was born with two holes in his heart called Atrial Septal Defect and Ventricular Septal Defect, meaning his heart has two chambers rather than four.
The Athletes and Business Alliance isn't just about creating business relationships, it's also about helping those in need.
Daniel Morin is a young Toms River boy who was born with two holes in his heart called Atrial Septal Defect and Ventricular Septal Defect, meaning his heart has two chambers rather than four. His first surgery was performed when Daniel was one month old, and since then he has had years of medical treatments and a constant feeding tube.
But none of that takes the smile off of Daniel's face, and Peter Grandich of the Athletes & Business Alliance and Trinity Financial Sports and Entertainment Management wants to continue the joy.
Several athletes in the ABA have now had the pleasure of meeting Daniel, including former NY Devils Ken Daneyko, Grant Marshall and Bruce Driver. The hope is to keep the smile on Daniel's face, as he continues to battle.
Daniel Morin needs round-the-clock medical care, a costly but necessary endeavor for his family. Team Daniel is full of friends, family and medical professionals working to ensure Daniel continues to lead a full life.
If you'd like to contribute to Daniel's cause, please visit The Bleeding Hearts Benefit on Facebook. There, you will find a list of supplies, such as diapers and soaps, which continue to help Daniel and his family.
